A resignation letter is written to let your employer know that you are
resigning from your current position. The resignation letter should be addressed
to your immediate manger & should at least include your intension to resign,
the effective date of your resignation, your name & signature. This
resignation letter sample can be used to create your own letter.
It is best to first inform your manager of your intention to resign in a face to
face meeting before giving him or sending him your resignation letter.
